Grammy week is over. Felt like a long week with a lot of talent in town and many parties... And last week they had the premier for 'When In Rome' too where 'Heartbling' was playing during the end titles. That was fun! Anyway, LA can feel so unreal at times. It's almost like a big reality show! That's actually exactly how it feels sometimes... I think. But it has its peace and beauty too... here are some random pics! Xoxo!

Hello!! If you read these blogs of mine (that I try to keep writing more regularly than I have lately) then I apologize for my absence!!

It finally stopped raining after a week of a crazy wet LA. Luckily I’ve been staying dry in the studio with Tobias Karlsson and Peter Svensson for the last few days and there couldn’t have been a better way to get through these rainy days! Peter is in the Swedish band ‘The Cardigans’. I always loved them so it’s been fantastic to get to write together!!! He’s not only one of the most talented writers from Sweden but also a really nice guy! Later on we all went out to meet some other Swedes at Madeo. Italian food is the best in the world! Ate too much but couldn’t help myself and swallowed it down with some even more amazing wine. Or maybe they were both equally good! Hard to say! Then to the bar at sunset marquis until my head finally hit my pillow!! Hope you guys had a great weekend wherever you are!! XO Sofi

Back in the studio with Jim Jonsin and his Miami Crew.... Here in LA this time. My singing both was twice the size of my first apt in NYC at Plant Recording Studios.. I'm used to be singing in a home made closet!! Jim is awesome. Such a talented dude!! Two of the songs we wrote in Miami made it to the album. He was here working with Cypress Hill too... I'm such a fan of theirs.

So the production of my album finally started! Hallelujah!!! Tomorrow I'm going to San Francisco for a few days to finish up a song I wrote with Louis and Sam. I'll send some pictures from there. Sam used to be in a band called Color Me Badd. He's the guy who had the long curly hair if you remember! It's all shaved off today. I used to know one of their songs called ‘I wanna sex you up' by heart and the dance too!! Man what a fantastic title. I didn't really understand the meaning of it back then. Ha! You have to check it out on you tube. The 90's were grand indeed! XOxoXooXOXoox!
